I am fascinated by the way the dance of colour, light and line in a stained glass panel, can enliven a space and touch the heart.
This is especially true when the shifts of natural light are allowed full play.
Once installed, stained glass takes on a delightfully responsive life of its own.
I studied Stained Glass Design at Central St Martins and currently make designs and teach classes in my Nottingham studio.
My ideas are mainly inspired by the dynamism of plant forms and the rhythms of landscape.
There is no doubt that the rich legacy of my Indian childhood continues to exert a huge influence on my life and work.
